Bordeaux-Merignac Airport

A increase of 10.3% on our 2009
figures!  2010 was the centenary year of
aviation at Bordeaux Merignac, and we rounded off the year in style with an
all-time record number of passengers: 3,663,702!

This increase is far
greater than the proportional increase in scheduled commercial flights, which
only rose by 2%.

The launch of the new billi
terminal and the resulting increase in our range of low-cost options, the
launch of 12 new destinations last year, the increase of almost 35% in
international traffic: all have played their role in the success of
Bordeaux-Merignac. Despite the context of global economic crisis, and a year
marked by major disturbances to air traffic, Bordeaux Airport is the only one
of France’s five major regional airports to witness such remarkable growth.
