Bordeaux-Merignac Airport

On 18 and 19 June at the Bordeaux River Festival, more than a thousand people came to the stand to celebrate the first anniversary of billi, the name given to the terminal and to the low-cost flight offering of Bordeaux Airport. The partnership set up for the occasion between billi and Secours Populaire was a roaring success: sale of "billi macaroons" to raise funds for the association, the "billi team" challenge, a lottery, a "travellers’ wall" competition... The atmosphere was festive over the two days as people tried to win one of the many flights offered as prizes, whilst contributing to the plan to send families on holiday with Secours Populaire. The River Festival has come to a close, as has the billi stand, but the anniversary celebrations go on... Coming up over the next few weeks: results of the prize draws, selection of the competition winner and, of course, the wonder on the faces of the kids who will soon be off on holiday with their families!
