Bordeaux-Merignac Airport

870,814 passengers passed through Bordeaux Airport in July and August 2012; 98,000 more than the same period last year (+12.6%). These strong results owe much to the success of scheduled flights both domestic and international, boosted by numerous new lines launched in recent months, including the arrival of a new carrier this spring – Volotea. Over the first eight months of 2012, Bordeaux Airport has seen passenger numbers rise by 10% compared to last year. Meanwhile, the use of larger aircraft has allowed us to reduce the total number of flights by 2.4%.
