Bordeaux-Merignac Airport

Mr. Dominique Schmitt, Prefect
of the Aquitaine Region and the Gironde Department, and Mr. Pascal Personne, President of the Board of Directors of Bordeaux Mérignac Airport (on the right of the picture) recently signed a new Sustainable Development Charter for the airport. Also in attendance were various elected officials and representatives from related associations, the Civil Aviation services and the airlines. This new charter is a true road map for all parties involved in the airport’s operations, including 32 key actions to be taken by 2013 in areas such as collaboration, environmental preservation and economic and social contributions.
