The airport’s operating company, ‘SA Aéroport de Bordeaux Mérignac’, is looking to find a profitable use for the 7 hectares of free space near the entrance to the airport zone, known as the ‘45th Parallel’. To attract proposals from any interested parties, a call for tender was launched for the development of this area.
The winner of the contract is the proposal submitted by the consortium of Thalium Promotion, Eiffage Immobilier Atlantique, Colliers Tourny Meyer and Archi Concept Europe.
- Thallium Promotion and Eiffage Immobilier are the construction and promotion partners.
- Colliers Tourny Meyer will be responsible for the commercial management of the new site
- The new facilities will be designed by Archi-Concept Europe.
At the heart of this project is a new building programme which will create a total of 38,000m² of usable premises. The project will be conducted in 3 phases, with the first phase set for completion in 2014.
In these semi-rural, green surroundings the new facilities will include a business centre and a 4-star hotel with 150 bedrooms, along with 5 new office buildings conforming to the most advanced energy efficiency criteria, a protected car park and a dedicated business restaurant.
