Bordeaux-Merignac Airport

Ryanair today announced the launch of a new line connecting Bordeaux to Rome Ciampino,
beginning on October 30th. A Boeing 737-800 service will run four times per week,
every Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Sunday. This new route is the Irish company’s seventh service to run from Bordeaux, with Bologna, Brussels, Cork, Edinburgh, Porto and Seville already available. To celebrate the launch of this new destination, Ryanair are offering special prices starting at just €27.99 one way, taxes and charges included.

We at Bordeaux Airport are delighted to see this new addition supplementing the existing Rome service operated daily by Air France. In the first six months of 2011 this route carried 17,400 passengers, a 78% increase on the traffic figures for the same period in 2010, making it one of the most successful routes operating at Bordeaux Airport.
