On Friday 1st June, Volotea, the airline linking regional capitals, announced 2 further destinations: Lille and Strasbourg leaving from Bordeaux.
The company, whose first flight was on 25 April from Bordeaux to Venice Marco Polo, announced that more than 200,000 tickets had been sold since sales opened on 1st March.
From 4 June, flights will be on sale in travel agencies as well as over the Internet.
"We now offer people from Bordeaux and the whole of Aquitaine numerous flights to the French and European regional capitals, without connecting flights and at low cost", emphasised Carlos Muñoz, delegate
advisor at Volotea. “We can now announce the opening of two new destinations from Bordeaux:
Lille: 3 weekly flights from October, then 4 starting on 29 October.
Strasbourg: 5 weekly flights from October.
To date, Volotea offers 9 destinations including 5 domestic flights (Lille, Strasbourg, Ajaccio, Bastia et Toulon) and 4 in Europe (Venice, Malaga, Palermo and Ibiza).
