Hungarian airline Wizz Air has announced a new direct service between Bordeaux and London Luton, starting on 29 March 2026. Having established a presence in Bordeaux in October 2025, Wizz Air is reaffirming its ambition to expand in the region, after launching its first routes to Bucharest, Rome Fiumicino and, this week, Venice.

This new service meets strong demand for connectivity between Nouvelle-Aquitaine and the United Kingdom, for both business and leisure travel, in both directions.
With four direct routes now departing from Bordeaux in 2026, Wizz Air — still a recent arrival on the tarmac — is confirming its intention to establish a lasting presence and to offer an accessible, diverse and competitive European network.
