easyJet announces a new route between Bordeaux and Rabat (Morocco)

easyJet, the second largest short- and medium-haul airline in France and the leading airline in Europe in terms of network, is now offering tickets for a new international destination from Bordeaux: Rabat.

 

  • easyJet, the leading airline at Bordeaux airport, is enhancing its winter offering by launching a direct route to Morocco's capital, Rabat.
  • Rabat will be served twice a week from Bordeaux, on Tuesdays and Saturdays, starting from 29 October 2024. Tickets are on sale now.
  • Operating in Morocco since 2006, easyJet transports over a million passengers to the country every year.
  • This new route increases the number of destinations served by the orange airline from Bordeaux to 36.
  • easyJet is a major player in connecting French regions with each other and with key European destinations.

 

easyJet, the second largest short- and medium-haul airline in France and the leading airline in Europe in terms of network, is now offering tickets for a new international destination from Bordeaux: Rabat.

Situated on the Atlantic Ocean, the city lies at the estuary of the Bourereg River, separating the twin cities of Rabat and Salé. Rabat boasts an exceptional heritage recognized by UNESCO, blending Arab-Andalusian and colonial architecture, along with modern infrastructure such as the marina and the grand theatre. 

Operating in Morocco since 2006, easyJet transports over a million passengers to the country each year. With two existing routes to Essaouira and Marrakech from Bordeaux, easyJet is strengthening its local offering by launching a new route to the Moroccan capital, Rabat.

The orange airline recently announced three new destinations for winter 2024-2025 (Zurich, Rome Fiumicino, and Rovaniemi), reaffirming its ambition to make Bordeaux a top destination within its network.
