easyJet, France's second-largest airline and number one in Bordeaux, is launching two new international routes from Bordeaux: an exclusive route to Budapest, Hungary, and to Prague, Czech Republic. As the leading regional airline in France—outside Paris and measured by seat capacity—easyJet is responding to demand for fast and affordable connections between French regions and international destinations.

With these two new routes, Bordeaux residents will now be able to explore two of Eastern Europe's must-see capitals: Budapest and Prague. Budapest, nicknamed the 'Pearl of the Danube', charms visitors with its beauty and rich history. The majestic Danube River, a source of inspiration for countless artists, separates Buda and Pest, now unified into one of Europe’s most famous cities. Magnificent bridges linking both sides invite travellers to discover Buda, the historic royal district and elegant residential area, as well as Pest, the city's bustling economic and commercial heart.

Bordeaux residents can also fly to Prague, a city with a charm unlike any other in Europe. With its majestic Gothic cathedrals and magnificent Baroque palaces, Prague offers a true escape from time. From Old Town Square to the hilltop Prague Castle, travellers are sure to be captivated by the beauty of the ‘city of a thousand towers and a thousand steeples’.

These two new routes from Bordeaux will operate with two flights per week: on Thursdays and Sundays to Budapest (from 26 October 2025), and on Mondays and Fridays to Prague (from 27 October 2025).

Reginald Otten, easyJet's Deputy Managing Director for France, comments:

"We are very proud to announce the launch of two new international routes from Bordeaux to Budapest and Prague, bringing the number of destinations served by easyJet from this airport to 40 by 2025. These Eastern European cities promise Bordeaux residents unforgettable experiences — whether on the banks of the Danube in Budapest or along the Vltava in Prague. As France’s leading regional airline outside Paris, we remain committed to offering the best possible network from Bordeaux, with increasingly competitive fares."
