Transavia is continuing to expand its winter 2026/2027 programme with the launch of a new direct route between Bordeaux and Cairo, a new destination for Bordeaux Airport.
Transavia is continuing to expand its winter 2026/2027 programme with the launch of a new direct route between Bordeaux and Cairo, a new destination for Bordeaux Airport.
From 25 October 2026, Air France-KLM Group’s low-cost airline will operate one weekly flight, every Sunday, between Bordeaux and the Egyptian capital. Tickets are available now from €59 one way on the airline’s website.
With this new route, travellers departing from Bordeaux will be able to fly non-stop to one of the Mediterranean basin’s major cultural and historical capitals. Previously unserved from Bordeaux, Cairo will further enhance the range of destinations available by direct flight during the winter season.

This new service complements the airline’s winter programme from Bordeaux, which also includes Dakar, Sal, Boa Vista and Seville.
