Sabena technics, in the heart of the airport's hub, has just won a base maintenance contract with Air Europa. The Spanish airline will entrust it with the heavy maintenance of two of its Boeing 787-8 aircraft with nose to tail C-Checks, which will be carried out at its Bordeaux facilities.

For the past two years, Sabena technics has been providing Air Europa with airframe solutions for their fleet of A330s. This contract highlights the fact that, beyond its already well established reputation regarding a wide range of maintenance capabilities for Airbus family aircraft the MRO cie is also widely regonized for its servicing capacities of the Boeing family aircraft.

"Supporting our valued customers in their development is our goal. This new opportunity confirms Air Europa's confidence in our services and rewards the daily efforts of our highly qualified staff," said Philippe Rochet, Managing Director of Sabena technics.
