Bordeaux Airport is launching a Call for Expression of Interest (CEI) aimed at airlines to accelerate the use of Sustainable Aviation Fuels (SAF) at its hub.
Since 2022, Bordeaux Airport has been committed to developing the use of SAF and contributing to the decarbonization of air transport. Today, it is taking a new step forward by implementing a financial support mechanism intended for airlines using SAF departing from Bordeaux.
This scheme aims to help finance the additional costs associated with the use of SAF and to encourage additional volumes at the Bordeaux platform. The funds mobilized involve Bordeaux Airport and several local companies.
Regular commercial airlines operating from Bordeaux and wishing to participate in this scheme are invited to request the complete CEI file, which specifies the eligibility criteria, support terms, expected commitments, and the application procedure.
