The 2018 summer schedule will include an additional 17 weekly rotations, bringing the total number of flights to 24 per week.
Rising demand in the Bordeaux region
After the opening of the Bordeaux-Frankfurt route last spring, Lufthansa Group continues to strengthen its presence in France with the launch of a new Bordeaux-Zurich regional link, which will be operated by Swiss International Air Lines (SWISS). The new route will launch with 12 weekly flights.

The opening of a new link between Bordeaux and Zurich, Switzerland’s economic and financial centre, satisfies the needs of business travellers and puts tourists within easy reach of all that Bordeaux and its region have to offer, including architecture, culture, and wine.
From next summer, Lufthansa will strengthen its Bordeaux-Frankfurt offer with 5 additional flights per week, bringing the total number of weekly rotations to 7.

From 26 March, Bordeaux residents can reach Zurich in less than 2 hours
The new link will be operated by SWISS with 12 weekly flights. Passengers flying from Bordeaux will reach Zurich in 1 hour and 40 minutes.
The Bombardier CS100 aircraft used on this route will carry up to 125 passengers per flight.
Seats for the Bordeaux-Zurich flight will start at €85 for a one-way trip.
The first SWISS flight from Zurich will arrive on the Bordeaux tarmac on 26 March at 09:05. The first plane to leave Bordeaux Airport for the new destination in northern Switzerland will take off at 09:45.
