Bordeaux Airport remains fully operational and mobilised to provide the region with all the support required as part of the response to the ongoing wildfires.
Flight operations at the airport have not been interrupted and are continuing in accordance with instructions from the relevant government authorities. To support firefighting operations, air traffic may be temporarily adjusted as required. Emergency aircraft are being given priority, while departing flights from Bordeaux are being facilitated wherever possible. To date, 60,000 passengers have departed from the airport since the wildfires began. Commercial flights are therefore continuing to operate.

Bordeaux Airport extends its full support to everyone directly or indirectly affected during this difficult period.
Bus and tram services to the airport continue to operate. As the airport terminals — Hall A, Hall B and the billi terminal — are closed overnight, no overnight accommodation can be provided on the airport premises. Hotels near the airport are gradually reopening. Travellers are advised to check directly with the hotels that they are open and able to accommodate guests before arriving.
Passengers are also advised to check their flight status regularly on the Bordeaux Airport website and to follow the authorities’ recommendations regarding traffic and access conditions.
