The airport is currently fully operational and is playing a key role in supporting the region's response to the ongoing wildfires
The airport is currently operational and is doing everything it can to provide the region with all the necessary support in the ongoing fight against the fires. Commercial flights are operating as normal.
In coordination with the relevant authorities, priority is currently being given to departing flights.
Bus and tram services remain operational. However, the tram operates non-stop between Mérignac Soleil and Bordeaux Airport.
By decision of the Prefect, hotels located in the immediate vicinity of Bordeaux Airport are currently closed. Passengers are advised to contact accommodation providers located outside the evacuation zones.
As the airport terminals (Hall A, Hall B and the billi terminal) are closed overnight, no overnight accommodation can be provided on airport premises.
