Items found at the airport

Have you misplaced your keys, your bag... or has your child lost their favorite stuffed animal in one of our terminals? Don't panic, we may have already found it! Thanks to our partnership with TROOV, you can report the loss online, easily and securely, using a simple form.

The more details you give us (color, shape, distinctive features, location and estimated time of loss), the easier it will be to find your property. And if we have recovered it, you can choose to pick it up directly or have it delivered to your home (paid services)*.

When passing through security checks, certain items may be removed if they are prohibited in the cabin according to current regulations (Learn more). These items can then be handed in to the lost property service.

Thanks to our partnership with TROOV, once the item has been checked and identified, you can submit an online request for its return by filling out the TROOV form. You will then have the option of picking up the item on site or requesting home delivery (paid services)*.

Partnership with Les Restos du Coeur: nothing goes to waste, everything is shared!

At Bordeaux Airport, you can give a second life to food and hygiene products that you cannot take with you in your cabin baggage.

Thanks to our partnership with Les Restos du Cœur, the products you decide to leave behind before boarding don't go to waste: they are sorted, redistributed, and given to those in need.

What does the association do with your products?

Hygiene products over 100 ml

  • All products, whether new or opened, are intended to support initiatives that help people in need and those experiencing homelessness.

Non-compliant food products

  • Unopened food items with a use-by date of more than one month (drinks, canned goods, pâtés, etc.) are given to Les Restos du Cœur. Liquids over 100 ml, excluding alcohol, are also collected.

Every little gesture counts. By traveling from Bordeaux, you are also helping to support local solidarity.

Remember to pack your carry-on bag carefully before your trip to avoid disappointment. See the list of products and items that are not allowed on the plane

If you notice that a personal item has been left behind or lost on board the aircraft, please contact your airline's baggage claims department directly.

Once the aircraft has landed, this department is the only one authorized to centralize, identify, and return items found on board. If possible, have your flight number, travel date, and a detailed description of the item ready to facilitate the search.

*The storage and return of these items are subject to detailed regulations, which can be viewed here. The storage period is limited depending on the type of item (see regulations).
