To illustrate this dynamism, amongst many other events to come, Bordeaux will host next year the world's largest robotics and artificial intelligence competition, the RoboCup. No less than 3,500 participants from all over the world and 40,000 visitors are expected from 23 to 29 June 2020 at the Bordeaux Exhibition Centre. The objective of this event is to stimulate the French robotics sector and to encourage vocations among the youngest. For more than 20 years, RoboCup has been a major scientific and technological event that generates between 7 and 15 million euros of spin-offs in six days, depending on the year.
