Turkish Airlines strengthens its presence in Bordeaux

Turkish Airlines is increasing its flights between Bordeaux and Istanbul.

Turkish Airlines is the airline serving the largest number of countries, more than any other airline in the world. It connects travellers from more than 306 destinations in 124 countries and 5 continents. Through its hub in Istanbul, Turkish Airlines serves popular destinations in Asia, such as Vietnam, Thailand, the Philippines, Sri Lanka and Bali, Indian Ocean islands with Mauritius, Seychelles or Maldives but also in Africa.

From 31 March to 24 June, 5 flights per week will be operated between Bordeaux and Istanbul. Between June 25 and September 27, daily flights will be operated between the two airports.
Summer flights between Bordeaux (BOD) and Istanbul (IST):

  • From March 31 to June 24, 2019: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays
  • From June 25 to September 27, 2019: daily
  • From September 28 to October 27, 2019: Mondays, Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays

For the winter, from 28 October 2019 to 25 March 2020, Turkish Airlines will operate 4 weekly flights between Bordeaux and Istanbul.
The days of winter flights between Bordeaux (BOD) and Istanbul (IST):

  • From October 28 to March 25, 2020: Mondays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Sundays

To know: For connecting passengers with longer stops, a hotel room, dinner and transfers from the airport are provided by Turkish Airlines allowing them to visit the cultural sites of İstanbul by bus in the presence of a guide.

The strengthening of this service is an opportunity to discover this cosmopolitan city that is home to many splendours.
