The “Billi” Terminal starts its makeover in Summer 2019

As part of the ambitious construction project which will open the doors to a largely refurbished low-cost terminal in 2021, a new phase of work has just begun. In addition to the extension of the check-in areas, the project includes the complete modernisation of the hold baggage handling process. From summer 2019 onwards, hold baggage will be managed by a fully-automated line, which is faster and more practical, thanks to ‘Self Bag Drop’ kiosks placed at the disposal of passengers.
