The new Corol 39 bus line, operated by TBM, facilitates access to the airport by public transport for a large number of users such as passengers and airport employees. It links the "MERIGNAC Les Pins" stops to "PESSAC Photonique", via Bordeaux Airport and Pessac-Alouette Station, and replaces the "Flexo 48".
The airport thus becomes more easily accessible thanks to the interconnection with the Tram via the connections of lines A (Le Haillan-Rostand) and B (Gare de Pessac-Alouette). This line will provide a direct public transport link between the outskirts of the agglomeration and the airport. It foreshadows the future access scheme which, in 2022, will offer a complete multimodal service -Tramway and Technobus - by offering an efficient alternative to public transport.

This new service is part of Bordeaux Métropole's multimodal mobility scheme as part of the Bordeaux-Aéroparc Metropolitan Interest Operation. For Bordeaux Airport, it is one of the major development projects to be completed by 2023, with a focus on the development of its airport service quality, the strengthening of its environmental approach and its economic contribution to the region.
