The teams at Bordeaux Airport SA have many different talents and areas of expertise. Here are the five departments that make up our workforce.

Administration and support

Administration and Support’s tasks

Administration and Support’s task is to organise and implement cross-departmental action plans, in step with regulatory requirements and company strategy.

Operations and customer relations

Operations and customer relations

The role of our Operations teams is to welcome and inform passengers. They plan, allocate and check on the resources required by passengers to ensure every step on their journey is a smooth one. They also process flights and manage cross-departmental relationships with all the Airport’s partners.

Technology, research and engineering

Technology, research and engineering

Technicians, researchers and engineers all help to design, implement and maintain the Airport’s infrastructure, equipment and systems so that they meet customers’ needs and work in step with our strategic objectives.

Risk management and prevention

Risk management and prevention

Our Risk Management and Prevention teams are in charge of all safety and security roles required by national law. They do this in coordination with French authorities to ensure travellers’ and other people’s safety, and they apply European regulations to make sure that property is always secure.

Commercial development

Commercial development

Our Commercial Development teams’ role is to oversee all promotional work designed to increase our flight network and our passenger numbers. This covers everything from basing businesses, shops and services in the Airport to research and contracting

In close collaboration with Bordeaux Airport SA, all the public service operators and private companies based at the Airport rely on a very diverse range of skills sets and areas of expertise to keep it running smoothly.
