From April 2019, Air Canada will offer direct flights to Montreal from Bordeaux in a Boeing 737 MAX 8. The airline is recognised as Canada’s biggest domestic and international air carrier, covering a network of more than 200 airports on six continents. Air Canada has been flying to France since 1951, making it the oldest North American airline to operate in France. It is a founding member of the Star Alliance™ network.
Thanks to this Montreal connection, Bordeaux residents will have access to Air Canada’s vast North American network, which covers most major cities, including New York, Boston and Philadelphia.
Check-in and boarding
Online check-in opens 24 hours before your flight and closes at the same time as the check-in desk. On the day of your flight, go to Hall A of Bordeaux Airport to drop off your hold luggage or to check in if you have not already done so online. If you do not need to complete these steps, go straight to security screening. After security, you will reach the departure lounge.
